To create and fulfil a booking, TaiwanTrain processes contact details, passenger identity and travel-document details, travel selections, and order records. Language and privacy preferences may be stored in the browser, and limited campaign attribution may be retained under the configured consent policy.

Why we use it

Booking data is used for payment, fraud and duplicate checks, manual availability confirmation, ticket fulfilment, customer support, refunds when applicable, and legally required records.

Service providers and transfers

Payment and operational service providers process only the data needed to provide their service. Because booking, payment, hosting, or support providers may operate in different jurisdictions, data may be processed outside your country subject to applicable safeguards.

Retention and your rights

We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes above and applicable legal obligations. You may request access, correction, or deletion where applicable by emailing support@taiwantrain.com. We may need to verify the requester and retain records that law requires us to keep.
